What made you get into modeling/fashion?
"From as far back as I can remember, I have always loved and felt comfortable in the limelight! It's like it calls my name.. Back in 2010, I was recruited by a group in college to be apart of their fashion show. I participated in it, and from there everything literally started. The photographer who was shooting at the show, said that he liked my look and that he wanted to shoot me. In addition, there was an up and coming fashion designer, who said that he wanted me to model his line when it debuted. Since then, everything has been coming together. Now that I have graduated, I am always searching for every opportunity that is available to me, and doing everything that I can to network with those in this career."
How long have you been into it?
"I have been involved in the industry since Fall 2010."
How do you view the industry?
"I believe that there is a huge misconception that you have to be tall in order to model. There are various genres of modeling, you just have to do your research and see which genre is the best bit for you . Also I know it is all about networking to get to the top. With the work that I've gotten in the past year, it has come from networking and reaching out to those who had a foot in the industry or someone who was close to another person who was in the industry. Being a Woman with dreams and aspirations, it was imperative to me to understand that sitting around and waiting would not get me anywhere. In order to make it out here, you have to be a true go-getter, and be self-motivated. If you don't go get trust me someone is will."
You have anyone in mind you want to work with next model etc.?
"I will always say this: no matter how long it takes, I would love to shoot with my two career idols: Cynthia Bailey and Eva Pigford…hands down lol. As for male models, I would love to shoot with my boy Camell Page."

When you were growing up what did you always wanted to be?
"When I was growing up I always wanted to be a healthcare provider. My dreams officially came true this past December. I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. It doesn't stop there for me. Within the next 5 years, I plan to receive my Doctorate in the field of Nursing Anesthesia. In my book, you can't have beauty without brains…this is what separates me from a huge majority in this modeling and fashion industry. To me, you have to have more in order to make yourself more marketable, you know?"
If you could shoot anyplace in the world where would it be?
"Oh wow, I would love to shoot on French Polynesia's Bora Bora island…I am a total beach bum. The crystal clear Pacific waters, and white sands, are perfect for me. It's almost like Miami, in that it rains every single day, but only for about an hour or so, but after that, the shooting is on!!!"
What is something you willing to share with your readers that they might not know about you?
"Something that my readers may not know about is that I am a sergeant in the United States Army. May of this year will make six years of service…I love what I do and I'm proud to serve my country and it's citizens. Also I have taken Spanish for six plus years…I love the language and enjoy learning more and more everyday and speaking with my Latina friends!!"
Anything you want to add before we close out?
"Before I close out, I have something simple, yet very powerful to say…NEVER give up on your dreams and your goals…if you want it…if you're hungry for it….then GO GET IT. 'I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me'…believe this and the sky will ALWAYS be the limit."
